Lobbying Bill strays wide of the mark

A Bill designed to tighten the rules on political lobbying is passing through the UK Parliament.  But many are now concerned that the scope of the Bill has been widened significantly in such a way that could be seriously detrimental to our sector. In particular, it could constrain the ability of community groups to lobby their elected representatives – even on very local issues.  John Swinney MSP, Cab Sec with responsibility for Third Sector, has weighed into the controversy with this response.
