Much to take in

The past fortnight has seen a flurry of separate announcements. Alex Neil MSP takes over from John Swinney MSP as Cab Sec for our sector with a new tweak to the title – Social Justice, Communities and Pensioners’ Rights – perhaps reflecting a slight shift in emphasis. We have a new Minister for Community Empowerment, Marco Biagi MSP.  And in amongst the headline grabbing land reform announcements, the new £10m  Empowering Communities Fund has to be good news. And little has been made so far of the Smith Commission’s proposals for the Crown Estate. Much to take in.
