Big Lottery hosted an event recently at which Cormac Russell spoke about his work both in this country and abroad which concentrates on the reinforcement of ‘community strengths’. With an approach that is closely linked with the work of ABCD Institute and the community organising movement in the States, he cites twelve aspects of life where ‘people power’ is needed to bring about the required change
