Is this community buy out hostile or friendly?

Last month, we reported on the first ever attempt by a crofting community to use Part 3 of the Land Reform Act which permits a ‘hostile’ right to buy to be enforced when a  landowner doesn’t want to sell. But in the case of the Pairc Estate, the landowner claims he is more than willing to transfer the land into community ownership – it’s just that the community won’t believe him.  Confused?  You will be after watching this clip from BBC Alba last week.
